Life without a computer means a straight neck. And more time for yoga. Add mobile screens to the restriction, and suddenly, the world stretches wide. Screentime—minus hours hunched over work—equals more daily, simple movements as a natural respite.
Imagine trading hours of typing and scrolling for bending and breathing. Without a device in hand, my body craves motion. Morning stretches replace the bleary-eyed scroll. Midday walks become routine, and in the evenings, I’m on the mat—working through poses that rebuild every tight muscle.
What fills the gaps? Engrossing, creative, wonderful tasks like organizing the house, improving the home, and optimizing systems for growth, personal and professional. There’s an irony here. The less I’m tethered to the digital world, the more I move, and the more productive I become.
It’s a life of presence. Without the glow of a screen, there’s more focus on each movement—each breath. And in that quiet space, where technology used to hum, yoga finds room to thrive.
